Taskbar shuffle - drag and drop the taskbar windows
Playing around with IE7 and FF tabs is a great feature, but once you’re hooked to that, there’s no escaping wanting more
Now, with Taskbar Shuffle you can rearrange all opened windows in your taskbar. The program is small, really easy to install and although you need to run it on startup, you can hide the taskbar icon and forget that it’s ever there.
Although you won’t find yourself using it on a daily basis, eventually you’ll need it, and then you will really know why this was so important to install and to forget about.
Run anything from windows run command
rename.exe (132kb) allows you to easily change multiple file names, using an easy interface. Capitalize all letters, change only the first letter in every word, eliminate extra spaces, convert characters, change the file date and much more.
Watch YouTube streaming videos faster and without interruptions
If you find yourself wasting a lot of time on YouTube, you should really download Speedbit Video Accelerator. The program stays in your taskbar (can be hidden) and comes to work whenever you watch a video on YouTube (or embedded) - it makes the buffering and the streaming process much more faster and without any “hiccup” playing problems. The program also supports videos from DailyMotion, MetaCafe, grouper and itunes.
When was the last time you’ve restarted? Check your system stats
Uptime is a simple tool for windows that gives you important statistics about your computer usage. The default usage for this program (uptime.cmd file) is to see how much time has passed, since the last time you’ve restarted the computer, but there is also information about your system availability, downtime, total reboots, number of blue screens you get and the exact dates of your shutdown and boots (run the uptime.exe /s in cmd mode to see all options).
Wakoopa tracks your computer use - it’s like an automattic twitter!
Wakoopa tracks what programs you’re running on your computer, sends that information to the website and aggregates your computer usage. Then, you can see stats about your favorite programs, where you waste your time on and also check to see what your friends are doing and if they’re currently using skype, why not call them? A word to the creators, though, give an option to hide the toolbar icon, it’s that important.
